摘要: The transforming growth factor β (TGF-β) family signaling pathway is conserved and ubiquitous in animals. In Drosophila, fewer representatives of each component are present compared with vertebrates, simplifying mechanistic study the pathway. Although there members, TGF-β still regulates multiple diverse functions Drosophila. this review, we focus our attention on several classic best-studied for regulating Drosophila developmental processes such as embryonic imaginal disc patterning, but also describe recently discovered roles hormonal, physiological, neuronal, innate immunity, tissue homeostatic processes.
