摘要: When an increment threshold is measured as a function of the radiance adapting field, so-called threshold-versus-radiance curve obtained. Stiles has shown by two-color technique that this not necessarily smooth but can have inflections whose nature depends upon conditions. From he reasoned mechanism responsible for changes from one to another with change level, all conditions otherwise being kept constant. In present paper it analogous situation occur threshold-versus-duration curve, which sometime called temporal summation curve. Instead in duration test stimulus considered. An assumption made each its own and over-all determined their relative positions. As example utility analysis, two sensitivity curves eye were obtained stimuli different durations, 100 12.5 msec. It argued they are shape because contribution mechanisms be interpreted terms positioning curves.
