摘要: An extensive survey of the porosity dependence (room temperature) physical properties shows that mechanical and electrical thermal conductivity, i.e. dependent on local flux or fields in material, follow minimum solid area models. This is shown extensively for elastic tensile (flexure) strength, but consistency with other properties, e.g. compressive hardness, conductivity also shown. Although data ceramics most extensive, rocks, metals, carbon are included, since these, especially metals ceramics, provides important support concept. While characterization generally minimal, expected model trends pore character corroborated by correlating processing resultant porosity-property results. It argued mass should be better fit a linear, rule mixture, relationship between such porosity. Support this dielectric constant-porosity data.
