摘要: This paper describes an efficient, forward looking, radar system that can be used for vehicle applications including collision warning, avoidance and adaptive or intelligent cruise control. A Doppler is described uses a monopulse antenna scheme to track multiple targets generate range, range rate azimuth angle output data each target. The requires less than 2 MHz of bandwidth designed operate at any microwave millimeter-wave frequency. transmitted power milliwatts the ranges in excess 125 meters. frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) transmission with shift keying (FSK) measurements minimize requirements. advantages disadvantages FSK modulation are presented. block diagram included theory operation text. employs digital signal processing (DSP) fast Fourier transforms (FFT) identify, separate individual domain. produces as independent values even though they mathematically related. this measures independently simultaneously.
