摘要: Using tweets extracted from Twitter during the Australian 2010-2011 floods, social network analysis techniques were used to generate and analyse online networks that emerged at time. The aim was develop an understanding of communities for Queensland, New South Wales Victorian floods in order identify active players their effectiveness disseminating critical information. A secondary goal important resources disseminated by these communities. Important effective Queensland found be: local authorities (mainly Police Services), political personalities (Queensland Premier, Prime Minister, Opposition Leader, Member Parliament), media volunteers, traditional reporters, people not-for-profit, humanitarian, community associations. range identified flood; however, they appeared be a more general information nature rather than vital updates on disaster.
