摘要: The propagation of the front (i.e. interface) between two immiscible fluids flowing through a porous medium is governed by convection, i.e. fluid velocities at front, which in turn are pressure gradient over domain. We investigated special case two-phase flow that can be described as potential flow, sharp and traced with simple Lagrangian formulation. analyzed controllability field, velocity field position, for an input form slowly time-varying boundary conditions. In example considered this paper order one equivalent aspect ratio, pressures to any significant level detail only possible very limited extent.Moreover, reduces increasing distance from wells. same conclusion holds local changes because they completely velocities. Aspect ratios much lower than (for instance resulting strongly anisotropic permeabilities) or geological heterogeneities high-permeable streaks) essential pre-requisite able significantly influence subsurface manipulation well rates.
