摘要: The prevalence in the aging human population of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and Huntington’s disease is a burden on present society terms cost to health care systems emotional stress family members. What current status research these disorders? Are entirely separate character or are there commonalities? attempts investigate molecular basis revealing clues that might lead development rational therapeutics? Increasing evidence supports view above-mentioned have common mechanisms associated with protein misfolding aggregation. These been termed “protein-misfolding disorders” “protein-conformational characterized by accumulation intracellular extracellular aggregates. This review explores possibility manipulation cellular response offers opportunities counter conformational changes proteins trigger pathogenic cascades result diseases.
