摘要: Epidemiology treatises are notoriously dull as they recite statistics on the incidence and prevalence of infection well implications these infections salubrity community. In commentaries, data presented their evaluation, which is often subject to multiple interpretations, invariably reflect bias author. studies herpes simplex viruses (HSV), biases particularly apparent. The field has been influenced by many investigators who have performed excellent research aimed toward understanding physiology interactions with host. Every attempt will be made distinguish sound precise clinical observations from those that warrant further clarification. Controversial issues range very simplistic, such symptomatic versus asymptomatic primary infections, more complex unique propensities viruses, namely apparent ability cause recurrent disease incrimination oncogenic agents.
