摘要: Abstract Kinetics of hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) was studied in 1 M NaOH at 298 K on nickel–phosphorous–carbon ( Ni 81 P 16 C 3 ) composite electrode. Evaluation the electrode activities carried out by steady-state polarization Tafel curves, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and cyclic voltammetry (CV). The kinetic parameters obtained curves revealed that Ni–P composites modified incorporation carbon from L -lysine source during electroplating process were active toward HER. Thus, to study more precisely activities, EIS measurements performed. A surface roughness factor R f than three orders magnitude for HER rate constants estimated using Tafel-impedance data assuming Volmer–Heyrovský path. Analysis conjunction with values constantans showed increase activity originated 18% 82% intrinsic (synergetic effect). Microstructure composition electrodes scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), elemental microanalysis (EDX). Besides good electrocatalytic activity, excellent chemical stability observed
