摘要: Much progress has now been made in terms of identifying and characterizing the molecules important T cell recognition, both receptors ligands. Many issues remain unresolved, however, among these are: how on what basis are selected thymus? precise nature receptor-antigen-MHC recognition event. Towards addressing we have developed two types experimental systems. The first involves mice transgenic for specific receptor genes crossed onto different MHC backgrounds. With suitable serological probes can follow expression α β chains (or lack thereof) cells bearing animal. Together with work von Boehmer colleagues Loh (this volume) results studies give us some very clear ideas about reality efficiency positive negative selection thymus. In addition, systems should make possible biochemical characterization phenomenon near future.
