Association of adiponectin and adiponectin receptor gene polymorphisms with rheumatoid arthritis in a Chinese population

摘要: Purpose To explore the association of adiponectin (AD) and receptor (ADR) gene single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) with genetic susceptibility to rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in a Chinese population. Study design Five AD SNPs (rs266729, rs2241766, rs1063537, rs2082940 rs1063539) two ADR (rs7539542 rs12342) were genotyped cohort 617 patients RA 639 healthy controls. Seven using TaqMan genotyping assays on Fluidigm 192.24 system. The concentration plasma was examined by ELISA. Results Patients showed considerably lower level than controls (p=0.002). No significant differences observed for distribution allele genotype frequencies rs266729, rs2082940, rs1063539, rs7539542 rs12342 between effects recessive dominant models also analysed, but no marked evidence found. However, further analysis female that frequency rs1063539 GG nominally significantly higher who anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide (anti-CCP) antibody-positive (p=0.040). serum different genotypes. Conclusions are possibly not associated RA, locus anti-CCP patients.
