Early implant loading in severely resorbed maxilla using xenograft, autograft, and platelet-rich plasma in 97 patients.

摘要: Purpose We studied the reconstruction of maxilla with simultaneous placement International Team for Implantology (ITI) implants combined use a small amount intraoral autogenous bone providing necessary viable stem cells, and larger xenogenic used as scaffold purely autologous platelet concentrate growth factors optimal formation. Patients Methods Ninety-seven consecutive patients, 57 females 40 males, severe maxillary atrophy necessitating grafting implant fixed bridge were treated between 2001 2003. A total 314 ITI sand-blasted large-grit acid-etched type placed simultaneously in anterior, posterior or both parts maxilla. Results Of all cases, 97.8% healed uneventfully excellent hard soft tissues healing. Bone maturation was at 3 months seen on x-rays CAT scans. Conclusions The xenogenous grafts allowed fast tissue
