摘要: PURPOSETo evaluate the clinical features of presentation, morphologic and immunohistochemical pattern, modality spread, response to current treatments patients with primary mediastinal B-cell lymphoma, a recently documented subtype non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL).PATIENTS AND METHODSThirty consecutive (14 males, 16 females; median age, 26 years) sclerosis were studied.RESULTSThe aspects largely homogeneous: 93% presented chest symptoms rapidly enlarging mass anterior mediastinum; tumor was bulky in 73%, superior vena cava syndrome (SVCS) present 57%. Also, without SVCS showed subclinical venacaval compression at computed tomographic (CT) scan, for total incidence caval obstruction 80%. Intrathoracic extension adjacent organs seen 47% patients.
