摘要: The functions of hyperactivation may fit together to create the following scenario. Sperm that enter oviduct bind mucosal epithelium. Near time ovulation, helps them detach from epithelium, escape pockets, and move through oviductal mucus. As sperm reach ampulla, frequent changes in direction enable encounter cumulus mass. Then, assists penetrating matrix and, after acrosome reacting, zona pellucida. A factor or factors periovulatory follicular fluid induce by raising intracellular calcium levels sperm. Knowledge mechanisms regulating be used develop new clinical tests for fertility semen samples.
