摘要: Summary Zooplankton is an important bioindicator of ecosystem functioning. Knowledge the seasonal fluctuation in zooplankton population estuarine waters Indian Sundarbans rather limited. In present study, we analysed community structure assemblages and their spatio-temporal variations based on different multivariate statistics indicator value analysis. A total 56 taxa were identified density was primarily dominated by planktonic copepods few meroplankton communities during four sampling seasons. The most abundant species were: Acartia spinicauda, sp., Bestiolina similis, Euterpina acutifrons, Labidocera acuta, Paracalanus aculeatus, parvus indicus. Canonical Correspondence Analysis highlighted that temperature, pH, DO, salinity nutrients prevailing environmental parameters associated with significant changes distribution this area. highest abundance recorded winter, followed monsoon, summer spring. Throughout study period, indices observed good condition. Seasonal occurrence dominant high IndVal index markedly it might be used as a potential for particular season condition complex. results provide evidence presence warm water can clear indication climate change-mediated elevated temperature system. Our underscore diversity from mangrove complex emphasize need long-term monitoring ecologically fragile ecosystems like Estuarine System.
