摘要: Abstract A genomic library of Pseudomonas syringae pv. phaseolicola race 3 was constructed in the cosmid vector pLAFR1 and maintained Escherichia coli . Clones were transferred individually by conjugation into an isolate 1 P.s pv Transconjugants screened for alterations to virulence phenotype inoculation pods Phaseolus vulgaris differential cvs. Canadian Wonder, Red Mexican Tendergreen. None 842 clones tested altered from avirulence on cv. Mexican, but two (p3A1000 p3A2000), with a common 19·2-kb Eco R1 DNA fragment, Leaves Tendergreen, inoculated (P3A1000) or (p3A2000), underwent hypersensitive reaction (HR) identical that caused 3. The avirulence, respectively Wonder not affected presence cosmids. Race (p3A1000) HR leaves range bean genotypes known be resistant susceptible 1. induced same phytoalexin response multiplied limited extent as clone p3A1000 conferred when 2 it did affect isolates P.S Xanthomonas campestris phaseoli P. tested.
