摘要: Local, parallel analysis of shading in an image may be used to infer surface shape without o priori knowledge about the viewed scene. The following has been proven: Given a reasonable assumption smoothness, local second derivative intensity allows image-plane component orientation determined exactly, and maximum-likelihood estimate remaining depth made. An algorithm developed compute orientation, parallel, for each point scene characteristics. This evaluated on both natural synthesized images, produces good shape.
