ISOLATED SETS, CATENARY LYAPUNOV FUNCTIONS AND EXPANSIVE SYSTEMS

摘要: It is a paper about models for isolated sets and the construction of special hyperbolic Lyapunov functions. We prove that after suitable surgery every set intersection an attractor repeller. give linear attractors repellers. With these tools we construct functions metrics around whose values along orbits are catenary curves.
