摘要: A plurality of movies are distributively stored in digital form on a mass storage unit such as Redundant Array Inexpensive Drives (RAID) disk drive system that they can be viewed demand by multiple users. master controller receives movie requests from users, and generates designation commands through Small Computer System Interface (SCSI) bus designates retrieval at the requesting user's facility, locations requested data RAID system. Successive generated for successive blocks data. designated reads block SCSI bus, converts retrieved into video picture audio format to show television receiver facility. The is preferably compressed Motion Picture Experts Group (MPEG) format, decompressed controllers.
