摘要: The determination of an appropriate level prospective payment for inpatient medical services requires consideration and documentation psychiatric problems which impact on resource utilization. A major source information reimbursement planning is the list secondary diagnoses referred to as "complications comorbidities" (CCs) taken from record. If psychiatry are omitted attestation sheet, they unlikely be included in any formulae. This study was designed look at actual hospital experience terms how often were attested Of 100 patients evaluated, 25 found have 33 complications CCs. CCs, only 9 (24%) recorded sheet. Reasons implications this low rate discussed. complete accurate may single most important priority psychiatrists general hospitals. Even when DRG system replaced by capitation payment, importance diagnostic recording recognition will remain paramount making analyses adjustments.
