Multi-regime dynamics in the analysis of sectoral transformation potentials: evidence from German utility sectors

摘要: Abstract Network-bound infrastructure systems as electricity, gas, water and telecommunications are currently undergoing transformations on various levels dimensions. Liberalization, technological innovations socio-cultural dynamics part of this. For analyzing these ongoing transformation well exploring future developments utility systems, a theoretical concept is necessary which spans production, consumption governance, different levels, also sectors. This paper argues that the multi-level perspective fruitful starting point allowing identification interrelated in but multi-regime need more emphasis, particularly oriented analysis.
