摘要: A new theory is proposed to explain the synthesis of 5′ ends linear DNA molecules. It suggests that chromosome consist palindromic base sequences. These can form self-complementary hairpin loops, which be converted by ligase, a specific endonuclease, and polymerase, into completely replicated ends.
