Frequency dependent conductivity of lightly doped cis-polyacetylene: Role of multiply connected doped trans-polyacetylene regions

摘要: Abstract The evolution of the frequency and temperature dependence conductivity cis -polyacetylene [ -(CH) x ] lightly doped with iodine is reported. As dopant concentration increased, frequency-dependent contribution to remains unchanged while frequency-independent increases dramatically. These results are inconsistent formation small isolated metallic islands embedded in undoped . data support idea that even at lightest levels studied (d.c. increased by only one order magnitude), regions multiply connected, not isolated. Comparison temperature- conductivities trans implies isomerized configuration there may be some structural fibril cores, agreement earlier spectroscopic studies.
