摘要: A method of making metal carbide, nitride, or boride powders and mixtures thereof by direct reduction compounds comprises (a) forming a reactant mixture, (b) heating the mixture to temperatures that cause solid reactants vaporize above which precursor are reduced, (c) passing heated through converging-diverging nozzle designed reduce temperature for time sufficient further product species form nuclei grow condensation powders, (d) exhausting from into an expansion chamber.
