摘要: An electrode catheter for intravenous insertion into a cavity of the heart comprises tubular sheath accommodating first spiral wound wire conductive biocompatible material, which affords an insulated operative portion exposed from and capped distally by domed ring, mapping material sensing electrical activity in cardiac muscle, is carried coaxially capable movement along transmitted means second extending through connected to external control handset. The arched tension designed establish restraint between ring distal end sheath, length can be increased or reduced alter loop profile as expedient shape explored.
