摘要: Problems occur when institutional arrangements for collective management of food and water systems fail to meet demands. Many the problems characterising river basins other collectively managed resource can be ascribed largely failure institutions enable beyond individual collectively. The nature these demands, responses them, vary widely are not amenable simple definitions prescriptions. We begin with a brief review conventional approaches analysing organisations, focused largely, but exclusively, on basins. observe that attempts reduce landscape over-simplistic formulas introduces more than solutions, because reality is evolve through complex creative processes adopt adapt diverse ingredients – rather like making stew. Despite such intricacies, clearly non-random, so we continue search means describing them. concept bricolage, as proposed by Cleaver others, use it show value promoting facilitating an organic approach building strengthening basin institutions.
