Effective Field Theories of Loosely Bound Nuclei

摘要: Physics can be organized as a sequence of effective field theories (EFTs) according to distance or inverse-momentum scale. I discuss in these lectures the EFTs that allow us describe nuclei context underlying theory strong interactions, QCD. After an introduction general EFT ideas, QED non-relativistic regime is used illustrate emergence structure from breakdown perturbation theory. QCD are then developed for scales appropriate typical (Chiral EFT), light (Pionless and near driplines (Halo/Cluster EFT). Emphasis on conceptual framework, including power counting renormalization underline connection between loosely bound nuclei, rather than broad phenomenological successes various EFTs. The surprising non-perturbative pion exchange shorter-range interactions highlighted, together with role fine-tuning systems.
