Land Suitability Map Development for Central Java and Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Provinces Based on WebGIS.

摘要: Abstract The paper presented a spatial information in the form of maps land suitability through WebGIS interface thatcould be used for developing agricultural businesses, especially Central Java and Daerah Istimewa Yogyakartaprovinces. Weighted overlay method was analysis, whose weights each plant assumed to have same growth factors including climate factors, topography, physical lands. reviewed agriculturalcommodities were avocado, chili, cacao, orange, litchi, coffee, pepper, mangos teen, palm tree. projectresults indicated map which generated range data required by such as variable name villages, sub districts, provinces levels ,and potential areas, WebGISwhich built using MapServer MySql. made easy possible so users mightadapt get easily. recommended areas crop based on climatic factors,topography, soil type, cover. Recommendation related an appropriate area development acommodity depends class available field areas. Information will publicized agribusinesses can determine what commodities, area, regionthey develop.(H)
