摘要: Purpose – This paper aims to depict the pivotal roles played by Mary Parker Follett and Barnett Gilson, as they uniquely contributed early management thought, theory, practice through “spirituality” despite chauvinism of their day.Design/methodology/approach Synthesizing articles from history journals, writings about figures interest, annals, published works themselves, other resources; this illustrates how input Gilson made distinctive valuable contributions field.Findings research concludes that although mid‐nineteenth mid‐twentieth century, when men were dominant in any arena relating management, responsive “spiritual” insight its contrariness credence day.
