摘要: Numerical solutions are described for three-dimensional MHD equilibria in the presence of resonant magnetic field perturbations. The effects a realistic spectrum errors calculated range current profiles cylindrical geometry, and results benchmarked against toroidal calculations two different profiles. It is found that magnitude existing present day devices, contemplated future can produce set islands occupying significant fraction plasma cross-section. applicable to those situations where flow unimportant. conditions under which this case discussed, implications several cases interest considered
