Topology-aware Virtual Network Embedding Using Multiple Characteristics

摘要: Network virtualization provides a promising tool to allow multiple heterogeneous virtual networks run on shared substrate network simultaneously. A long-standing challenge in is the Virtual Embedding (VNE) problem: how embed onto specific physical nodes and links effectively. Recent research presents several heuristic algorithms that only consider single topological attribute of networks, which may lead decreased utilization resources. In this paper, we introduce six complementary characteristics reflect different attributes, propose three topology-aware VNE by leveraging respective advantages characteristics. addition, new KS-core decomposition algorithm based two devised better disentangle hierarchical structure networks. Due overall consideration attributes using characteristics, our study coordinates node link embedding. Extensive simulations demonstrate proposed improve long-term average revenue, acceptance ratio, revenue/cost ratio compared previous algorithms.
