摘要: In a previous paper (1) to clarify the physiological significance of endogenous 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) subcellular distribution 5-HT in rabbit brain stem has been studied and electron microscopical structures fractions which contain have examined. was principally found P2-fraction consisted largely mitochondria nerve-ending particles (NEPs). After density-gradient centrifugation be comparatively highly concentrated NEPs-fraction (P2B-fraction). On other hand suspension hypo-osmotic medium subsequent differential resulted high concentration synaptic vesicles (sv) fraction although considerable amount also P2D- P2S-fraction. general not so specific as with acetylcholine (ACh) (2, 3) but rather diffusibly distributed among several fractions. this role transmission, especially central nervous system investigated mainly through experiments on uptake by stem. The chemical transmission at synapses consists following consecutive steps: 1) release transmitter impulses. 2) combination postsynaptic receptor. generation impulses potential. It appears that study into formation, uptake, storage, inactivation is necessary for full accurate understanding mechanism when there no direct evidence system. Segawa Kuruma (4), et al. (5) laboratory already shown NEPs or sv brain, incubated containing 5-HT, could take up from some drugs inhibit 5-HT. However we yet very little information whether are storage site situ. Also mechanisms amine can taken drug inhibits poorly understood. systematic concerning effect.
