摘要: Aims: To characterize and identify a new taxol-producing fungal strain HD86-9 isolated from Taxus cuspidata in China. Methods Results: Taxol extracted was identified by HPLC MS analyses. Strain cultured its morphology phenotypes were described. displayed most similar to that of Aspergillus niger but presented differences the shape size conidia. The growth evaluation showed maximal tolerable temperature 43°C, higher than model niger. 18S rDNA internal transcribed spacer region including 5·8S amplified PCR; molecular analysis these sequences revealed their high similarity 98% those niger. Conclusions: as variant endophytic fungi, it named var. taxi D.P. Zhou, K. Zhao W.X. Ping, nov. Significance Impact Study: As first report species, this study offers important information resource for production an anticancer drug endofungus fermentation.
