摘要: As part of a genome scan, ESTs derived from mammary gland tissue lactating cow were used as candidate genes for quantitative trait loci (QTL), affecting milk production traits. Resource families genotyped with 247 microsatellite markers and 4 polymorphic ESTs. It was shown by linkage analysis that one these ESTs, KIEL_E8, mapped to the centromeric region bovine Chromosome (Chr) 14. Regression revealed presence QTL, significant effect on production, in this chromosome region, variance showed no interaction marker genotype family. The estimated differences between homozygous genotypes 140 kg milk, −5.02 fat yield, 2.58 protein yield first 100 days lactation. Thus, there strong evidence complete or nearly disequilibrium KIEL_E8 QTL. To identify biological function we extended sequence 869 bp 5′-RACE. A 560-bp fragment shows 90.9% similarity gene encoding cysteine- histidine-rich cytoplasmic mouse. Although such may have regulatory lactation EST QTL has been observed, it remains be elucidated whether they are identical not. Nevertheless, will an efficient perform marker-assisted selection Holstein-Friesian population.
