摘要: Abstract In 23 hypertensive men, aged 47-55, propranolol reduced serum high-density-lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol by 13%, the ratio of HDL to low-density-lipoprotein (LDL)+very-low-density-lipoprotein (VLDL) 15%, increased total triglycerides 24%, and uric acid 10%. Prazosin 9%, LDL+VLDL 10%, 16%. These changes are statistically highly significant. On combined treatment with prazosin was still significantly but in other blood lipids were small insignificant. Uric remained elevated. When decisions about long-term therapy made, such metabolic effects might be special importance.
