摘要: Purpose To evaluate the long-term outcomes of laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) for high myopia. Design A (10 years) follow-up retrospective interventional case series study. Methods The study included 196 myopic eyes 118 patients with a mean preoperative spherical equivalent −13.95 ± 2.79 diopter (D) treated LASIK at Instituto Oftalmologico de Alicante, Spain using VISX 20/20 excimer (VISX Inc, Santa Monica, California, USA) and Automated Corneal Shaper microkeratome (Chiron Vision, Irvine, USA). All were evaluated three months, one year, two years, five 10 years postoperatively. main outcome measures refractive predictability stability, corneal keratometry, topographical cylinder, safety, efficacy, stability visual acuity, postoperative complications. Results At 82 (42%) within ±1.00 D 119 (61%) ±2.00 D. Fifty-four (27.5%) underwent retreatments attributable to under correction and/or regression. regression decreases time that did not undergo retreatment rate −0.25 0.18 per year. Eleven (5%) lost more than 2 lines best spectacle-corrected acuity (BSCVA) 78 (40%) showed postoperatively uncorrected 20/40 or better. Two (1%) 15 developed ectasia. Conclusions myopia over −10 is safe procedure slows down BSCVA increase long-term.
