Preparation and characterization of stearic acid/olive pomace powder composite as form-stable phase change material

摘要: Abstract This paper mainly includes the preparation, characterization and thermal properties of Stearic Acid/Olive Pomace Powder (SA/OPP) Powder/Graphite (AS/OPP) as a new form-stable composite phase change material for energy storage, which are prepared by impregnation method followed uniaxial compression. The graphite is added to improve conductivity SA/OPP PCM. Environmental Scanning Electron Microscope (ESEM), Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR), Differential Calorimetry (DSC), Thermogravimetric Analysis Hot Disk Analyzer measurements using characterized morphology, chemical structure, performances, stability PCMs, respectively. DSC analysis reveals that melting freezing temperatures latent heats PCM measured 55 °C 51 °C, 111 J/g 109 J/g, In addition, increased adding 7 wt % graphite.
