摘要: Pt/Pd catalysts have recently been found to exceptional properties in formic acid fuel cells. In this paper, the kinetics of electro-oxidation on spontaneously-deposited nanoparticles were measured provide a basis for cell design. The results confirmed previous findings that palladium covered platinum showed activity electro-oxidation. factor thirty more active than Pt under conditions examined. also continued function as CO built up catalyst surface and reasonable activity. Thus, tolerant. addition, Tafel slope was time dependent. Generally, decreased COad deposited surface, suggesting change rate determining step with coverage. concentration effect studied detail give guidance practical Similar studies performed comparison.
