摘要: Shale gas involves a technology which is controversial method of energy production mainly because there are uncertainties about the possible environmental and human health impacts. The article aims to identify level knowledge in relation impact risks attached shale exploitation academic scientifi c community. It does so by employing expert elicitation approach has benefi t quantifying judgment individual experts. We have revealed consistency among researchers assessing uncertainty main preferred policy option dealing with uncertainty, vow for improved transparency, openness ease access information. policy-making Europe needs science- based as science informs delivering objective reliable knowledge. concludes that developing comprehensive on data an appropriate regulatory framework will provide path forward future development contested policies like gas.
