摘要: Abstract The regional bioeconomy has great importance for generating socio-economic impacts, especially in sparsely populated resource peripheries. benefits include increased employment and income improved security of supply. In this study, the modified input–output model North Karelia, Finland is applied analysing impacts a bioenergy-based local development strategy. results indicate significant strategy based on bioenergy. This benefit corroborated by approximately 12 million euros annual 280 personnel working years district.
