The large angle course of the disability glare function and its attribution to components of ocular scatter

摘要: Recent investigations have strengthened doubts on the validity of Stiles-Holladay glare formula for large angles. Calculations partly based an earlier theoretical analysis turned out to be helpful understand deviations from and extrapolate function, in its dependence age pigmentation, into angle domain. A trend towards a 1/θ rather than I/θ² fall off predominates.
