摘要: An important consideration when establishing priorities in health care is the likely effects that alternative allocations of resources will have on health-related quality-of-life (HRQoL). This paper reports a large-scale national study elicited relative valuations attached by general public to different states (defined HRQoL terms). Health state were derived using time trade-off (TTO) method. The data from 3395 respondents highly consistent, suggesting it feasible use TTO method elicit public. shows for severe appear be affected age and sex respondent; those aged 18-59 higher than 60 or over men women. These results contradict reported elsewhere suggest small samples used other studies may concealing real differences exist between population sub-groups. has implications policy decisions.
