摘要: The fourth industrial revolution promises to create what has been called the smart factory. vision is that within such modular structured factories, cyber-physical systems monitor physical processes, a virtual copy of world and make decentralised decisions. This paper provides view this initiative from an automation perspective. In context it considers how future might be effectively configured supported through their lifecycles integration, application modelling, visualisation reuse best achieved. briefly describes limitations in current engineering methods, new emerging approaches including cyber (CPS) tools being developed by group (ASG) at Warwick Manufacturing Group, University Warwick, UK.
