摘要: ¶Observational data collected in the Lake Tekapo hydro catchment of Southern Alps New Zealand are used to analyse wind and temperature fields alpine lake basin during summertime fair weather conditions. Measurements from surface stations, pilot balloon tethersonde soundings, Doppler sodar an instrumented light aircraft provide evidence multi-scale interacting systems, ranging microscale slope winds mesoscale coast-to-basin flows. Thermal forcing occurred due differential heating as a consequence orography heterogeneous features, which is quantified by heat budget pressure field analysis.
