摘要: Abstract The design of the Test Blanket Modules for ITER and breeding blanket DEMO requires robust accurate modeling tools. Transport phenomena through tritium cycle are complex involve a large number physical properties parameters, many which have not been determined yet with level accuracy adequate optimization. Similarly, use simplified models experimentally lumped coefficients allows satisfactory predictions only in very limited range operative conditions, strongly reducing their potential to be relevant design. Within European Union fusion program road map develop such tools has defined purpose supporting Tritium System exploit TBM experimental testing extrapolation DEMO. roadmap includes development simulation as well validation verification experiments that must carried out parallel.
