摘要: A thorough understanding of the flow field and associated phenomena around a mechanical-draft air-cooled heat exchanger (ACHE) is important for optimal design such system. One these phenomena, hot air or plume recirculation, has long been recognized as problem that could adversely affect ability an ACHE to reject waste heat. The influence recirculating warm on performance exchangers under windless conditions investigated. An empirical correlation, numerically derived, presented with which effectiveness due recirculation in can be predicted. This correlation compared experimental results analytical model.
