摘要: Abstract Results are presented from experimental investigations of heat transfer in a 25 mm I.D. copper tube, tightly fitted with helical-wire-coil inserts varying pitch (p), helix angle (x) and wire diameter (e). A similarity law approach was attempted to interpret the friction results correlate them terms roughness Reynolds number (h+), momentum function R(h+) G(h+, Pr). The present compared previously published generalized correlation for G-function has been developed, which is applicable different types rough surfaces. An optimization study made on basis maximization rate also minimization pumping power exchanger frontal area identify most efficient tube within matrix data.
