摘要: The sexual maturation of adults and development the larvae Halyomorpha halys reared on Japanese cedar cones were investigated in Akita Prefecture, northern part Japan 2002 2003. Adult females laboratory field laid no eggs, died shortly thereafter. Second-instar never developed into 3rd-instar both laboratory, except for only a few individuals field. All most 4th-instar without further development, although some collected after late July 5th-instar. In contrast, many 2nd-instar fed seeds that taken out 3rd-instar. These results suggest mature are suitable H. larvae, but indehiscent not. Because do not dehisce until October it is considered this area cannot lay eggs develop by feeding cones.
