摘要: The formation of uniquely synthesized well-structured nanometer and micrometer sized silica spheres utilizing a cationically charged synthetic polymer at neutral pH under ambient conditions is reported. products were characterized using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR) X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). Evidence was found that the final structures incorporated polyallylamine hydrochloride (PAH), used here. It proposed PAH facilitates by similar mechanism to described previously in literature for silicatein proteins.
