摘要: Minimally invasive surgeries (MISs) are gaining popularity as alternatives to conventional open surgeries. In thoracoscopic scoliosis MIS, fluoroscopy is used guide pedicle screw placement and visualise the effect of intervention on spine curvature. However, cosmetic external appearance most important concern for patients, while correction achieving coronal sagittal trunk balance top priorities surgeons. The authors present feasibility study first intra-operative assistive system surgery composed a single RGBD camera affixed C-arm which allows visualising in real time effects patient surface transverse plane. They perform three experiments from simulated data based scoliotic patients live acquisition non-scoliotic mannequin person, all showing that proposed accuracy comparable with reconstruction state art.
